Arborist / Sales Representative

Position: Arborist/Sales Representative – Full Time

Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc.

Job Summary: The Sales Representative/Arborist is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes but is not limited to visiting client’s properties, assessing clients tree/plant needs, and preparing proposals for current and potential clients. The Sales Representative/Arborist must have a working knowledge of tree care related equipment necessary to complete the assigned tasks

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all sales within a defined sales territory
• Meet and strive to exceed sales expectations
• Prepares proposals for potential clients
• Aids in development and implementation of PHC programs
• Aids in development and implementation of safety programs
• Identifies and treats pest infested and diseased trees
• Applies pesticides and specialized tree fertilizers
• Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction
• Inspects and maintains all equipment
  
  

Qualifications

• ISA Arborist Certification
• 3-5 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Knowledge of trees, insects, & diseases
• Familiar with proper pruning standards
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good time management skills
• Strong knowledge of industry safety standards.
• Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Plant Science preferred but not required.

• Starting salary is $60-80k
• Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
