ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops and maintains long range and daily instructional plans.
2. Develops engaging, student-centered programming
3. Develops healthy self-esteem in students.
4. Ensures that all substitutes have lesson plans.
5. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provides progress reports as required and communicates with parents as deemed necessary. 6. Serves on building and district committees that develop curriculum and enhance instruction.
7. Maintains records for such things as student attendance, evaluations, report cards, discipline records and documents required by the School Board or Board of Education using prescribed formats.
