Entry Level Bookkeeper - Part-Time -OR- Full-Time
A busy local bookkeeping firm is looking for the right person to join our team of professionals as an entry level bookkeeping. This is an on site, in-office position, but after 6-12 months there is a possibility of up to 2 days per week of remote work.
The ideal candidate will have significant computer literacy, as our company operates in a paperless office environment that relies heavily on technology and digital communications. Our bookkeepers have excellent communication skills and know how to build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. We do not require prior accounting or financial services experience, but meticulous, reliable, self-starters are essential. You must be able to work unsupervised on complex, exacting tasks and follow detailed workflows. Quickbooks, payroll or HR experience is a plus but not required. Excellent desktop computer skills are essential.

Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity of the most common office programs (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Cloud/Apps/Drive, Calendars, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits:
- Regular raises based on clearly defined performance metrics (guaranteed raises at regular intervals provided performance metrics are met). Wages from $19 - $22 per hour within one year of initial employment are common for employees working more than 25 hours per week.

- Customer Service background: 2 years (Preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 years (Preferred)
