Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Operations Specialist role based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for some work from home after in-office training. The Operations Specialist will coordinate day-to-day property operations, including inspecting apartments in-person, ensuring readiness before guest arrival, and monitoring property standards. This role will support reservation workflows by updating booking systems, confirming details with guests and partners, and resolving maintenance issues. The Operations Specialist will communicate with guests, vendors, and internal teams to handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth stay experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, tracking operational metrics, assisting with process improvements, and supporting special projects that enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties, guest stays, tasks, and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including professional email and phone etiquette.
- Comfort with technology, including property management or booking systems, spreadsheets, and collaboration tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and follow through to resolution.
- Sense of urgency.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Ability to travel to apartments in-person, and effectively manage work while in the field.
- Experience in hospitality, property management, corporate housing, real estate, or operations support is preferred.
- Availability to occasionally support operations outside standard business hours, as needed for guest or property issues.
