Job Title: Caregiver
The candidate will provide direct care to residents while promoting residents’ highest level of functioning as directed by the supervisor. Assists in maintaining residents’ environment in a safe and neat manner. Promotes quality services within facility standards, State and Federal Regulations. Above all, you will exhibit a passion for serving seniors while contributing to the positive environment our residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities:
Provides personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care, including all ADLs, IADLs, medication reminders, and assistance with self-administration of medication.
Prepare residents for meals and assist to and from the dining room. Assist residents with meal set up and eating.
Assist residents with toilet and incontinence care.
Perform clinical procedures according to facility standards and scope of practice regulations.
Perform vital signs, B/Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by management.
Complete prevention and restorative care including, but not limited to, range of motion exercises, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL care.
Responsible for laundering of residents personal items, not limited to, personal laundry, sheets, towels, etc.
Maintain education development and compliance with State and Federal Regulations and current knowledge of resident care practices.
Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, residents, families, visitors, and other disciplines.
Adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, worker safety and other emergency procedures.
Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA policies.
Seek out and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have compassion for and desire to work alongside our aging population!
Certification of completing an approved State Registered Nursing Assistant is preferred.
At least six months of experience in long term care is preferred.
Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire. Physical requirements include bending, standing, lifting, stooping, sitting, walking, stretching, and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Salary : $15 - $18
