Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our core accounting operations and lead a small offshore team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and the month-end close process.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and enjoys both managing people and driving operational excellence across global teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a small accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Own and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs
- Prepare and organize audit deliverables and support external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Support communication and coordination across time zones with offshore team members
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
- CPA or path to CPA is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team (including offshore teams is a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams
