HomeLife on Glynco is a senior living community in Brunswick, GA looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to residents, good character, outgoing personality, team players and strong desire to continually improve services to our residents.
The Food Service Manager is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current local and state licensing standards, guidelines and regulations. Works closely with food service staff and Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with quality of food and an exceptional dining experience. Conducts daily cleaning of kitchen work areas.
Hours: Shift varies from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm - Full time position, evening and weekend shifts
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Recording food temperature
- Create food service staff schedule
- Prepare and place weekly orders
