Controller

Homefix Custom Remodeling is searching for a Controller to support the company's next phase of growth.

Hybrid role

Salary $100,000 - $150,000

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Managing full accounting close and preparation of financial statements.

• Overseeing all accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, general ledger activity, and cash management reconciliations.

• Ensuring accurate job cost reporting.

• Analyzing data from our CRM, payroll, and accounting systems to ensure complete and accurate accounting records.

• Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Leading the implementation of a new ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Assisting with managerial reporting and analysis, budget planning, and other projects as needed.

• Enforcing internal controls and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Training and development of accounting staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

• 10 years of experience in an Accounting management role.

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

• Experience with ERP implementation preferred.

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus.

• Ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem and Advanced Excel skills are a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work within a tight knit team and the ability to collaborate with different functional groups across the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
