Summary

We are seeking a new Insurance and Claims Administrator to join our team at our corporate office in San Juan Capistrano. This role will be a combination of responsibilities that will include review and approval of all vendor insurance coverage, verification and monitoring of vendor coverage, insurance document management/archiving, as well as management of property damage claims. Other duties will include management of our corporate insurance policies, ensuring compliance with company policy and contractual requirements, policy status monitoring and verification, and assisting our many field based associates and contract carrier partners in coverage acquisition and compliance with contract insurance requirements. This associate will work directly with field based associates, contract carrier business partners, other HDL administrators, our clients and their customers.

Requirements

  • Commercial insurance administration and claims management experience in a transportation related industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of commerical insurance programs for contract based business models.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all parties to our contracts and liability claims as they arise.
  • Commercial insurance literacy and core competencies.
  • Thorough and complete management of insurance related documents and their life cycle.
  • Full time office attendance is required.

Skills

  • Commercial liability claim management.
  • Thorough knowledge of claims subrogation processes and procedures.
  • Experience in the review and management of commercial certificates of insurance.
  • Excellent .pdf and .xlsx management and editing skills.
  • Full competency in Microsoft 365 application suite, especially Excel.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

The most qualified candidates will have experience in a transportation or logistics administration office. Must be people-oriented and able to communicate effectively with all parties to our business affairs. Monday through Friday daytime schedule.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
