Responsibilities: What are the care requirements of this client?
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Engagement
- Bathing/dressing
- Standby assistance
Notes: Client lives with her son. She has dementia and age-related memory loss, often repeating herself and needing gentle reminders and redirection, especially to drink water. Bathing is handled mostly by a hospice aide three times a week. Her mobility varies daily - she recently has been mostly bedbound but sometimes can transfer with help using a Hoyer lift, gait belt, wheelchair, or walker. She enjoys companionship and humor, prefers a female caregiver, and does not have pets. Meals are pre-made and only need reheating, and light housekeeping is limited to care-related cleaning.
Requirements: What is required from you?
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a valid ID or Driver’s License
- Must be reliable
