Responsibilities: What are the care requirements of this client?

• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Engagement
• Bathing/dressing
• Standby assistance

Notes: Client lives with her grandson, and is coping with the loss of her only child, which has been emotionally difficult. Client has rheumatoid arthritis and experiences chronic pain. Cognitively, she is alert but can be very direct and prefers things done her way, so an experienced, patient female caregiver who speaks clear English is best suited. She is independent in many areas but benefits from companionship, organization assistance, and engagement in activities. Client enjoys sitting outside, watching MSNBC and movies, and may wish to return to the YMCA. She likes things tidy and wants help organizing her linens and clothing. When the caregiver’s shift ends, Client prefers to be dressed in her pajamas unless she has other plans.

Requirements: What is required from you?

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a valid ID or Driver’s License
• Must be reliable
