Pay Rate: $14.00 - $16.00/hr (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
Job Summary
Adept Home Care is currently seeking a caring, dependable non-medical hourly caregiver for IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT for the following days/hours for client located in Pittsburgh, PA (Ross Twp, North Hills Area):
- Tuesday, Thursday (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
- May also need to assist wife from time to time - tying shoes, transport to doctors appts if daughter cannot, grocery shopping.
Client Diagnosis: Heart Condition - Stents, Chronic Frailty, Hearing/Vision Impairment, Fall Risk, Sleep Apnea, C-pap (at night), Asthma - Inhaler - Breathing Machine, Diabetes - Insulin Shots
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Cooking and Light Housekeeping
- Laundry and Change of Bed Linens
- Grocery Shopping
- Companionship
- Range of Motion Exercises
- Bathing, Grooming and Dressing Assistance
- Driving to Appointments and Errands
- Walking and Transfer Assistance Medication Reminders
- ADL's
- Ambulation
- Change Depends
- Transportation - Does NOT need vehicle BUT DO NEED a valid driver's license
Caregiver Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience
- 2 Step TB Test
- Pass Criminal Background Checks
- Pass Child Clearances (when applicable)
- Pass Fingerprinting (when applicable)
Benefits and Perks
- Sign on Bonus - $500
- Caregiver Referral Bonus - Up to $200
- Client Referral Bonus - Waiver Client: up to $500, Private Pay Client: up to $1000
- Health Insurance: Full time ONLY (ask details)
