As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills during busy shifts to ensure timely service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or relevant roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
