What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Space/Lobby Attendant position at Home2Suites?
Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Public Space/Lobby Attendant to support Housekeeping Department at our gorgeous property, HOME2 Suites Philadelphia Convention Center.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the lobby, public space to include the patio and front of the hotel and Spin Cycle area in a clean, tidy, and organized manner, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Clean and sanitize public areas, including bathrooms, restrooms, and hallways, following brand standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby furniture – report any tears, stains or broken furniture to management.
- Maintain the cleanliness of breakfast area after the breakfast staff shift is over.
- Spin Cycle Area
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Spin Cycle area; sanitize all workout equipment.
Report Issues:
Report any damage, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest complaints to management promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with guests.
Attention to Detail: Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Physical Stamina: Able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift, push, and pull items.
Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Problem-solving Skills: Able to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of related experience as a Public Space/Lobby Attendant or Commercial Cleaner
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred
