Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals; execute appliance installation and repair tasks with precision.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to support operational efficiency and compliance.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, or parts as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Troubleshoot HVAC & appliance technology issues promptly to minimize downtime; repair or replace components as necessary.
- Support construction projects or facility upgrades by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and addressing maintenance concerns efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC system repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment maintenance, appliance installation, and equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices; ability to perform equipment maintenance effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by construction experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly; valid driver’s license required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and problem-solving under pressure.
