Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with setting up event spaces or special accommodations as needed, ensuring all areas are guest-ready.
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities throughout the property efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent accidents or contamination.
- Support janitorial operations with industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning projects or equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in various environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
