Breakfast Attendant - Home2 Suites Port Arthur

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Port Arthur hotel is looking for an individual who can work the position as Breakfast Attendant. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will fill a guest services role in supporting your hotel's goals of the daily operation of the daily Breakfast Buffet. You will effectively prepare and deliver food and beverage selections to setup and replenish the buffet with the highest quality of product, cleanliness, and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous food and beverage service.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, love to smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
• Prepares and serves menu items to sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for breakfast.
• Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner. Frequently checks buffet line to replenish food, beverages and supplies needed.
• Sets out plates, cups, bowels, utensils and napkins for guests to use.
• Prepares coffee and/or tea by established standards.
• Removes and disposes of leftover food at end of breakfast shift.
• Cleans buffet area according to established standards. Cleans kitchen area, plates, bowels, etc.
• Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift.
• Keep daily / weekly records of foods temperatures, etc. per brand standards
• Keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed with GM.
• Receive direct and indirect customer feedback regarding their dining experience and relays feedback to proper management.
• Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications:

• An instantly recognizable and contagious passion for hospitality.
• To be part of a team maintaining high guest service scores. Guest service scores are an absolute top priority.

• Have a minimum of 2 months of food service experience with general knowledge of food preparation, presentation and service.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Able to come in by 5:00am depending on breakfast time
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Able to stand for at least 7 hours & able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

Part Time Employment Available

Can come to hotel to complete an application if no resume to submit.
$10.00 / hour

Pay: $10.00 - $10.01 per hour
