Performs major repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel systems to ensure brand standards are consistently met.
- Complete general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and wallpaper.
- Clean and maintain pool area and fitness center.
- Keep grounds clear of visible trash; clean parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrances thoroughly, including weed removal.
- Report any problems that may interfere with guest satisfaction and resolve in a timely manner.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized daily, and ensure all areas are secured before clocking out.
- Verify all exterior lighting is functioning properly and replace as needed.
- Identify, report, and correct safety hazards throughout the hotel.
- Ensure stockroom inventory is maintained.
- Assist with room inspections and ensure maintenance readiness for arrivals.
- Support opening team efforts, including setup and ongoing upkeep of hotel systems and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
