Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Breakfast Attendant to join our team at our hotel. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable breakfast experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food and beverage items are stocked and displayed attractively
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, offering assistance as needed
- Assist guests with their food and beverage selections, providing recommendations when requested
- Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items, such as eggs, bacon, cereal, pastries, and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping tables, cleaning spills, and replenishing supplies
- Monitor food levels throughout the breakfast service, restocking as necessary to ensure a consistent supply of fresh items
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when required
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the safety of our guests
- Assist with banquet or special event set-up as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to use basic kitchen equipment, such as knives and cooking utensils
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
