Responsibilities
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items efficiently, ensuring freshness and presentation meet high standards
- Serve guests with friendly, attentive in-person customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, food stations, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays safely and effectively
- Handle manual tasks including weight handling of food ingredients and supplies with proper technique to ensure safety
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable
- Follow food handling protocols diligently to uphold food safety management standards and prevent contamination or spoilage
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in breakfast or buffet settings, is highly desirable
- Fine dining experience or banquet/catering background is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and quality standards
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices within the food industry
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and basic math skills for portioning and transaction processing
- Experience with wine knowledge or bartending is advantageous but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary considerations, and food handling regulations
