Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate front desk activities, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out procedures using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
• Lead and motivate the front desk team to deliver outstanding customer service, demonstrating exemplary phone etiquette and client communication skills.
• Manage reservations through hospitality reservation systems, accommodating special requests and resolving booking issues promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach to enhance guest relations.
• Oversee night audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting at the end of each shift.
• Enforce hotel emergency procedures, maintaining safety protocols for guests and staff at all times.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk supervision with a strong understanding of hotel operations.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse guests from around the world.
• Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms, for reservations, check-ins, and reporting.
• Excellent customer service skills paired with problem-solving capabilities to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all guests and staff.
• Strong phone communication skills with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations.
• Resort experience or hotel experience is highly desirable for understanding the nuances of luxury hospitality environments.
