As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping people, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Handle credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to ensure seamless guest service.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel front desk setting, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems and hotel property management systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
