Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all facility equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Operate and programme programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise system performance.
- Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications of equipment and structures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Supervise junior team members or contractors during maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Lead small projects or upgrades within the facility, demonstrating leadership and organisational skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or facilities maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and installation.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
