Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and building infrastructure using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct residential painting, drywall repairs, carpentry work, welding, and other general maintenance tasks to uphold facility standards.
- Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors when necessary, and oversee facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities.
- Assist with supervising junior team members or contractors when required, demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits is essential.
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, drywall repair, and general carpentry work.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
