What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Designer / Estimator position at Home Wreckers?
Core Responsibilities
- Handles the early phases of remodeling projects, mapping out existing and new spaces alongside costs.
- Design & Modeling: Drawing existing conditions and proposed additions or room layouts software using Chief Architect.
- Material Takeoffs: Generating manual material lists (structral components, framing, drywall, finishes) from the 3D models.
- Client & Contractor Coordination: Translating home-owner wishes into code-compliant, buildable alteration plans.
- Work with clients preferred designer for selection and details
Work availability Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Experience:
- Drafting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Drivers (Required)
