Location: Lakewood, CA

Duration: 4–6 weeks
Schedule: Monday Wednesday Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $25–$30/hour DOE
Description:
A family in Lakewood is seeking a nurturing, experienced nanny to provide short-term care for their newborn son starting mid-July. The role will support the family as the mother transitions back to work, and the nanny will work alongside involved grandparents to ensure high-quality care and a smooth adjustment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on newborn care (feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines)
- Light housekeeping related to the baby (laundry, bottle sanitizing, etc.)
- Communicating with parents and grandparents throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Recent newborn care experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Experience with preemies and colic a plus
- Comfortable with cats (family has 2)
- Reliable personal transportation (parking available)
- Must be dependable, warm, and collaborative
- Must be able to provide 3-5 professional references
