Nanny / House Manager Position

Location: Troy, MI
Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, based on experience
Commitment: Full-time, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; family is open to a slightly later morning / early evening shift for the right fit
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family in Troy is seeking a reliable, proactive Nanny / House Manager to support their busy household. The family has three children in the elementary and preschool age range, plus one entering the early teen years. The role blends attentive childcare with day-to-day household management, and the family is looking for someone organized, nurturing, and interested in a long-term position. One or both parents typically work from home during the day. There is no pool, no special needs, and no food allergies in the household. The family keeps pet reptiles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups
• Transport children to and from after-school activities as needed
• Support homework and after-school routines
• Provide attentive, engaging care for the youngest child
• Prepare family dinners (the children enjoy helping)
• Meal prep
• Laundry
• Light cleaning and organization (a weekly cleaning service is provided)
• Maintain overall household flow and efficiency
• Occasional evening or weekend babysitting may be requested
