Home Together
Seattle, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/5/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/4/2025

Development Director

Home Together provides families of pediatric cancer and heart transplant patients with affordable housing options when they must relocate to Seattle to receive long-term, lifesaving treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital.  The organization was founded in 2022 to address the severe financial and emotional stress placed on these families as they are faced with finding affordable housing in one of the most expensive zip codes in the state.  Home Together focuses its services on those families who are most at risk for being underserved by current housing options. By filling this void, Home Together enables families, including caregivers, siblings and pets, to stay together during an extremely traumatic and stressful period.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the Development Director will lead the build out of the development function at Home Together to ensure a sustainable and growing source of funding to support its mission. This is a unique opportunity for a development professional to put their mark on this young organization’s success by optimizing and expanding its fundraising infrastructure, including programs, systems and processes. The successful candidate will be a proven fundraiser and strategist who has experience creating effective fundraising plans and personally securing five and six figure gifts. This person will be extremely detail oriented and able to flex between planning, team leadership and hands-on execution with a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and organizational excellence.
