Job Coach – Supported Employment

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being out in the community, forming meaningful connections, and seeing the direct impact of their work.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one job coaching at community work sites

• Teach and reinforce workplace skills like communication, time management, and problem-solving

• Help individuals understand job expectations and workplace routines

• Gradually fade support as individuals become more independent

• Track progress and communicate with the Employment Specialist

• Partner with employers, families, and care teams to ensure success

• Promote dignity, safety, and self-confidence at all times

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (some college in human services or related field is a plus)

• Experience in coaching, caregiving, education, or supported employment preferred (training provided)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Patient, flexible, and encouraging teaching style

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel between job sites

• Willingness to work some evenings or weekends

• Ability to pass background check and required training
