Help Patients Stay Independent at Home
@Home Therapy is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health occupational therapy services in Great Neck, Long Island.
Work one-on-one with adult and geriatric patients in their homes, helping them improve independence with everyday activities while enjoying the flexibility to create your own schedule.
What You'll Do:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Help patients improve independence with ADLs and IADLs, including dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and other daily activities.
- Reinforce upper extremity exercises, fine motor skills, coordination, balance during functional tasks, and home safety techniques.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment, energy conservation, fall prevention, and safe performance of daily activities.
- Monitor patient progress, communicate changes to the supervising OT, and complete timely EMR documentation.

Qualifications:
- Current New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
