Role Description:
A structured and active household in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Governess/Nanny to provide high-quality care for three young boys, ages 1, 3, and 5. This role requires a disciplined, energetic, and organized individual who can support daily routines, early learning experiences, and physical activities.
Core Functions:
- Coordinate daily schedules including meals, naps, and structured activities
- Support early developmental milestones through guided learning and play
- Facilitate physically active playtime and outdoor activities
- Maintain a safe, supervised, and nurturing environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding each child’s needs, progress, and daily updates
- Keep children’s play and living areas organized and tidy
- Live-in arrangement during on-weeks preferred but optional
Desired Background:
- Athletic or military background strongly preferred (sports participation, military service, or comparable structured experience)
- High energy level with the ability to manage multiple young children
- Strong sense of structure, patience, and professionalism
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable collaborating with parents
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Work Structure:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule
- Live-in during on-weeks available
Compensation:
- $40 per hour
