Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to keep everything running safely, smoothly, and ahead of schedule
- Manage inventory flow, including receiving, labeling, staging, and organizing all flooring and remodeling materials
- Prepare and stage materials for installation teams and ensure they leave with accurate, complete loads
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse that reflects professionalism and efficiency
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and confidently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and protection of materials
- Communicate clearly with installers, subcontractors, Purchasing, Scheduling, and office staff
- Troubleshoot material shortages, delivery issues, or job-site needs with proactive problem-solving
- Monitor pick tickets, landing tickets, and documentation with precision
- Drive company box trucks from job sites when required
- Implement and improve warehouse systems, organization methods, and workflow processes
- Uphold all safety standards and maintain compliance with company policies
- Represent the company with professionalism, a positive attitude, and strong customer service when interacting with team members or vendors
Skills
- Strong organizational abilities with a natural talent for keeping spaces clean, efficient, and easy to navigate
- Excellent time-management skills — able to prioritize, multitask, and stay ahead of daily demands
- Confident forklift operation and comfortable using warehouse equipment (or willing to become certified)
- Solid understanding of flooring and basic construction materials (LVP, carpet, trim, transitions, adhesives, etc.)
- Strong communication skills when working with installers, subcontractors, and office teams
- Tech-savvy enough to handle inventory systems, pick tickets, landing tickets, and basic documentation
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt when materials, schedules, or job needs change
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to take ownership of tasks without constant supervision
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with box trucks or trailers is a plus
- Attention to detail — accuracy matters because small mistakes can create big delays
- Safety-focused, proactive, and committed to maintaining a hazard-free environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
