Warehouse Quality Control Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for inspecting incoming windows and doors for quality issues, damage, missing components, and order accuracy before products are staged for installation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring jobs are complete, organized, and installation-ready before leaving the warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and committed to maintaining company quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Inspect all incoming windows and doors for damage, defects, sizing accuracy, and overall product quality.

· Verify all products match purchase orders, job specifications, and customer requirements.

· Identify and document damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and communicate issues promptly to leadership.

· Ensure all staged jobs contain the required materials, parts, hardware, trim, and accessories prior to installation.

· Maintain organized staging areas to ensure crews can efficiently load and complete jobs.

· Coordinate with warehouse staff, installation teams, and project managers regarding missing or replacement materials.

· Assist in tracking and managing inventory related to staged jobs and replacement items.

· Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, shortages, damages, and completed quality checks.

· Support warehouse operations with loading, unloading, and material movement as needed.

· Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

· Ensure company quality standards are consistently met prior to materials leaving the warehouse.

· Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain professional and execute Renewal by Andersen Brand requirements. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to identify product defects, damage, and inconsistencies.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

· Basic computer and documentation skills preferred.

· Ability to lift and move windows, doors, and related materials safely.

· Previous warehouse, construction, or quality control experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the warehouse.

· Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more with or without assistance.

· Exposure to varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.

· Use of warehouse equipment and tools as necessary.

· Fast-paced environment with frequent coordination between departments.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
