Home Construction Inventory Lead

We modify homes to support a senior’s desire to age in place. Our Life Changing Accessibility SolutionsTM include installing grab bars, stair railings, wheelchair ramps and stair lifts. We have an immediate need for a Field Service Production Lead to provide technical, logistical; fabrication and facilities support to a team of Field Service Technicians.

In this Production Lead role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of our field services. You will:

• Expedite and QA the departure of the Technicians
• Oversee the warehouse operations (shipping, receiving and returns)
• Maintain adequate inventory of products and supplies
• Specify, order and track custom fabricated solutions (i.e. stair railings)
• Review and prepare kits for ramp and lift installations
• Perform shop fabrication and finishing operations custom wood solutions
• Optimize the layout and function of our facilities
• Provide logistical support to our Field Technicians

The ideal candidate for us would be a mature individual with prior experience in a leader role in a home improvement related service business.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Expert and broad home improvement/repair/woodshop skills
• Experience working independently in a residential field service capacity
• Experience supporting and directing the work of others
• Working with technology (iPads, apps, cloud computing, field service management, AI)
• Capable of lifting 50 – 75 lbs. independently
• Superior communication skills and bedside manner
• Clean background and driving record
• Mathematical competence and spatial visualization skills

Key Elements of Your New Job:

• Your work schedule would be 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
• Your primary work location will be at our Burlingame facility with occasional local travel to job sites
• The pay range is $30 - $60 an hour; depending on experience and fit for our needs
• You would receive paid vacation, sick leave and holidays
• You can participate in our 401k – we provide a 4% company match
• We offer year-end profit sharing (up to 9% of your pay)
• You are eligible for Company health insurance
