Summary
We are seeking to hire industry-experienced personnel for an Experienced Pest Control Route Technician position. The primary responsibilities of the Pest Control Route Technician involves providing top-notch pest control services to residential customers.
Responsibilities
As a Pest Control Route Technician, your daily duties will include, but may not be limited to:
- Introduce self and interview customer, answering questions about products, services, application, efficacy, and expected results.
- Inspect premises (including but not limited to crawl spaces, attics, roofs, etc.) to identify infestation sources, access to areas, and extent of damage to property.
- Measure area dimensions requiring treatment, using rule, and estimate product use.
- Study reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation.
- Recommend additional products and services to customers based on customer’s needs and interests, and provide customers with product information.
- Perform services through product application, equipment use, and personal protection, always following product label instructions.
- Explain credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Arrange and direct delivery of additional services.
- Record work activities performed.
- Secure and clean work site after completion of job.
- Achieve required state certifications for which the branch provides services.
- Maintain flexible work hours, including Saturday work schedules.
- All other tasks as required.
Requirements
As a Pest Control Route Technician, we require the following:
- Take and pass state-required exams. Education and training provided.
- Work independently with exceptional time management skills.
- Communicate with customers and read and understand product labels.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position (standing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, etc.)
- Provide a valid driving record.
- Be flexible with workdays and hours, including Saturdays.
