Technology Trainer

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and continuously refresh technology training materials, including videos, guides, job aids, and learning modules.
- Create Modern Woodmen-specific content that complements vendor-provided training.
- Partner with IT business teams, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and translate them into clear, useable content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain training standards and acceptable practices at Modern Woodmen.
- Administer and support technology training platforms, ensuring content is published, maintained, and functioning as expected.
- Organize and maintain training materials to ensure they are easy to access, understand, and kept up to date.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve content, delivery, and user experience.
- Lead and perform training for internal and external users via in-person or virtual events.
- Perform other duties as requested.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2 years of experience in training, instructional design, content creation, or related role.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical, easy to understand content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across IT And business teams.
- Comfort learning and working with evolving technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A service-oriented mindset focused on helping others learn and succeed.
- Familiarity with instructional designs, concepts or training development preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, as well as other educational programs such as learning management systems, e-learning authoring tools, video creation tools, and webinar or virtual training platforms.
- Ability to pass LOMA Level 1 (within 6 months of hire).
What we offer:
- Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $30.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based sponsorship. - Work Arrangements: This is a full-time, hybrid, hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least four days in office each week. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be expected to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period, which may be up to one year. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change at any time based on business needs.
