We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate PRN, Physical Therapist to join our team at the Home of the Innocents in our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center Division. If you have a heart for children and want to make a difference in their health and well-being, we want to hear from you!
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will provide evaluations, develop care plans, and deliver physical therapy services for pediatric and young adult patients in accordance with physician orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with families to support therapy goals, while maintaining timely documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory and infection control standards.
This is a true PRN position, with no minimum hour requirements. Most PRN help cover for vacations, weekends, conferences, etc.
PRN Physical Therapist Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Current Kentucky Physical Therapist licensure and board certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience (may include during course of study); additional experience with multiple disabilities preferred.
- Specialized knowledge in pediatrics, orthopedics, and aquatic therapy (highly preferred).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with staff, families, and others with dignity and respect.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- High level of integrity and commitment to excellent customer service.
