Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role located in Vinita, OK. Responsibilities include providing medical care and monitoring individuals' health, administering medications, and documenting patient records accurately. The LPN will implement care plans, offer health education, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Additional tasks include responding promptly to medical needs, performing routine health assessments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to promote well-being and safety.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification or equivalent credentials, with valid state licensure
- Proficiency in administering medications, routine health assessments, and monitoring individual health
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, and care plan implementation skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory healthcare standards and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to respond efficiently in medical emergencies and provide compassionate care
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is an advantage
- Must maintain up-to-date certifications in CPR and first aid
