Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient warehouse worker to for our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to sanitizing equipment, inventory management, and shipping and receiving. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced and labor-intensive environment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries are processed correctly.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials, following protocols set forth by the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist with regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Safely unload pallets of equipment and supplies.
- Attend to cleaning and sanitizing of all incoming equipment following protocol set forth by the Warehouse Manager.
- Lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the day.
- Attend to grounds assuring that debris and trash is removed on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Accurately fulfill customer orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment and delivery.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while performing tasks within the warehouse.
- Assist with other duties as assigned in the warehouse and shipping departments.
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting DME issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and cleanliness in all duties.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
Must pass drug screen upon hire and random drug screens. Must have a clean background check and reliable transportation.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
