Job Description:
Home Meat Service (est. 1960) is hiring a full-time Retail Meat Counter Associate for our flagship store. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone with culinary experience or a strong passion for cooking who enjoys helping customers decide what’s for dinner. You’ll assist guests with fresh beef, pork, chicken, lamb, smoked meats, and specialty items while offering cut recommendations, cooking tips, and simple recipe ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the retail meat counter
- Recommend cuts, portions, and cooking methods
- Provide meal-planning help and simple recipes
- Maintain a clean, organized counter and work area
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service
Qualifications:
- Culinary experience or strong home-cooking skills preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Pay & Benefits:
- $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
- Advancement opportunity after 60 days
