Client Services Manager (Business Development)
At Home Matters Caregiving, our mission is to provide Purpose Driven, Nurse Guided Care that helps clients live with dignity, safety, independence, and meaning. The Client Service Manager (CSM) plays a critical role in bringing that mission to life.
The CSM is the connector, the person who bridges new client inquiries, referral partnerships, and exceptional service delivery. This role shapes the client experience from the very first conversation and ensures our care remains consistent, compassionate, and deeply personalized.
As a key ambassador for Home Matters in the North Denver community, the CSM builds lasting relationships, nurtures trust, and helps families feel confident that they’ve chosen the right team to care for their loved ones.
What You’ll Bring to Home Matters
A genuine passion for serving seniors and supporting families
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience in home care or hospice
An established and trusted professional network within senior care, healthcare, hospice, or community-based services
(e.g., senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, senior advisors, discharge planners, care managers, and other referral partners)A demonstrated track record of generating new business and successfully closing service referrals through relationship-driven, education-first engagement
A high sense of ownership, professionalism, and follow-through
Comfort with technology and willingness to learn our systems
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings
Knowledge of Colorado home care rules (or commitment to learning them quickly)
Willingness to participate in our monthly on-call rotation
Key responsibilities include:
Timely follow-up on all A Place for Mom (APFM) and referral inquiries
Follow-up with prospects and community partners as assigned
Working with the Executive Director to nurture our Top 10 referral sources in North Denver
Supporting the rollout and promotion of Sensi AI, our virtual care assistant
Documenting all business development activities in HubSpot
Maintaining strong, consistent communication with referral partners
Complete new client intakes and assessments
Enter all care plans and tasks into WellSky
Facilitate client–caregiver introductions when needed
Maintain regular, meaningful communication with clients and families
Support the implementation and adoption of Sensi AI
Uphold Home Matters’ Purpose Driven & Nurse Guided Care standards in every interaction
General Responsibilities
Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 8 AM (daily huddle at 7:30AM) at the North Denver office
Return completed client paperwork to the parent agency within 1 business day
Ensure all documentation is compliant, accurate, and up-to-date
Communicate effectively and collaboratively with all Home Matters teams
Represent Home Matters with professionalism, warmth, and integrity
Provide last-resort patient care coverage to ensure uninterrupted service when scheduled clinical staff (caregivers, LPNs, on-call, or supervisory team) are unable to attend a shift.

You will help grow Home Matters by building meaningful partnerships rooted in trust, education, and consistency.

Daily
Communicate urgent needs during the morning call
Follow up on pending client matters
Respond to all emails within 24 hours
Submit a daily summary of business development & client activity
Follow up on APFM and referral leads
Enter all prospect activity into HubSpot
Weekly
Conduct 17 referral visits, 1 inservice presentation, 1 educational workshop you provide, 1 industry networking event, 1 professional networking event, 3 new patient assessments, sign-up 2 new patients
Maintain compliance with all documentation requirements
Engage with referral sources consistently
Complete weekly scorecard
Monthly
Attend the Monthly Business Review (MBR)
Report on assigned KPIs
Complete Care Academy monthly training modules
Compensation: Base salary of $75K commission
Salary : $75,000
