Job Summary
As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate, personalized care in their homes. Your dedication to assisting individuals with daily living activities and medical needs will empower them to maintain their independence while receiving the support they require. You will be an essential part of a collaborative team, ensuring that each client receives the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs. We do Live IN, PT, FT, PER DIEM
What you’ll do
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure and heart rate, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities and those requiring Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
- Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry, to create a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and provide catheter care when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet each client's needs.
Basic qualifications
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others in need.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in home health or long-term care settings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
