Home Matters Caregiving is a Nurse-Guided, non-medical home care agency serving seniors and adults across the Wilmington area, including New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties. Our Nurse Supervisor is a critical leader who ensures our caregivers are well-supported, our care plans are sound, and our clients receive consistent, high-quality care at home.
About the Role
This role is available as both full-time and part-time depending on the right candidate. You will combine your nursing expertise with day-to-day business operations — supervising caregivers in the field, conducting client assessments, overseeing care plan development, and ensuring our agency operates in full compliance with state regulations. Full-time is structured Monday–Friday out of our Wilmington office. Part-time scheduling is flexible and will be built around the right candidate's availability. Participation in the RN on-call rotation is required for both.
What You Will Do
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Supervise and support caregivers in the field; conduct regular check-ins and performance monitoring
- Provide clinical guidance, training, and mentorship to the caregiver team
- Ensure all care delivery complies with agency policies, state regulations, and best practices
- Serve as the clinical point of contact for clients, families, and referral partners
- Coordinate with the scheduling team on care transitions, acuity changes, and staffing needs
- Participate in on-call rotations when neccessary
- Support agency quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical documentation
Who You Are
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina — required
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience; home care or community health experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills — you can motivate a team and earn the trust of clients and families
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Familiar with non-medical home care operations, care planning, and state compliance requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Compensation and Benefits
- Part-Time Hourly: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour based on experience
