JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for experienced caregivers with a passion for client care and relationship building. Our caregiver-first philosophy will change the way you think about your career in home care.

Our caregivers are expected to provide the highest level of service to our clients — from light housework and meal preparation to assisting with hygiene and providing companionship.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

• Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties

• Must have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience with the senior population

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Assist with meal preparation and feeding

• Assist with mobility and transfers

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

• Follow care plans and communicate any changes in condition to the appropriate staff

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care

• Reliable transportation

• Familiarity with basic first aid procedures

• Valid driver’s license

• Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

• Able to talk, hear, and see clearly

• Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

• Agency office

COMPENSATION

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
