Your Role
As a Caregiver with Home Matters, you’ll provide personalized support based on each client’s individual needs.
Depending on the client and their care plan, your day may include:
- Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
- Helping clients with everyday activities and routines
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Driving clients to appointments, errands, or other activities
- Helping with errands and other tasks that support the client’s daily life
- Paying attention to changes in a client’s condition and communicating concerns to the appropriate team members
- Encouraging independence while providing respectful, dignified care
- Working with the broader care team to help ensure clients receive consistent, personalized support
What You Bring
The most important thing you bring to this role is a genuine desire to help others.
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Experienced in providing care to seniors; 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- 21 years of age or older (some exceptions may apply)
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Comfortable providing personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life
You must also have:
- A valid driver's license
- A personal vehicle
- The ability to successfully complete a background check, random drug screening, and TB test
