Role Description
The Home Instead Care Professional role is a full-time, on-site position located in Mountain Home, AR. The Care Professional will assist clients with various activities of daily living, such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and companionship to support their well-being and independence. This role requires adherence to personalized care plans and collaboration with families to ensure the client's needs are met with respect, kindness, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in personal care assistance and home care support, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide companionship and emotional support
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing care plans, scheduling, and medication reminders
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and assist clients with transportation to appointments or errands
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of clients
- Reliable and compassionate, with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and protocols in a caregiving environment
- Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
