Schedule
- Weekdays and every other weekend with flexible times
Wages
- $17.00 - $19.00
& Benefits:

- Rate of Pay: $300 per day (24 hour period)
- Rate of Pay : Hourly starts at $17 (12 hour or less shift)
As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for....
- Companionship
- Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Medication reminders
- Personal cares (ADL's)
- Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
- Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
- Transportation
- Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
- 18 years of age
- Pass Drug Test
- Compassionate, respectful, and passionate about helping others
- Ability to follow care plans and document
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make sound judgments and work independently
- Experience using assistive devices (Gait Belt, Hoyer Lift, EZ Stand, etc.) is a plus
