What You’ll Do
Recruitment & Hiring
- Create and manage job postings across multiple platforms
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and hire top-quality caregivers
- Build relationships with schools, job fairs, and community organizations
- Coordinate applicant paperwork and onboarding requirements
- Lead engaging caregiver orientations and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with Home Instead and DHEC standards
- Guide caregivers through their first 30 days using our Caregiver Success Path
- Conduct first-shift introductions and caregiver check-ins
- Provide coaching, encouragement, accountability, and support
- Build strong caregiver relationships and improve retention
- Conduct in-home caregiver quality assurance visits
- Address performance concerns professionally and consistently
- Collaborate closely with scheduling and leadership teams
- Help create a positive, supportive office culture
- Participate in one scheduled on-call week each month
- Handle overnight and weekend caregiver/client calls
- Additional compensation provided for on-call responsibilities
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and office technology
- Previous recruiting, HR, home care, or office experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness to travel locally for caregiver support and client visits
