Experienced Caregiver

Seeking a skilled Caregiver who has advanced experience caring for clients with dementia. Must have strong communication skills and be able to understand and respond to verbal and written instructions.The candidate needs to have open day availability. The Ideal candidate is adaptable, patient and emotionally intelligent and must work well with all individuals involved in the client’s care.

What You'll Do:

• Build strong, professional relationships with clients and their families
• Provide personalized in-home support and companionship
• Assist with personal care needs and transportation.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Offer medication reminders
• Effectively document all required care logs
  
  

Minimum Requirements Include

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to transport the Client
• Must have valid auto insurance under the Applicant’s name.
• Must pass a background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Must be available to work Sunday 8am to 2pm every other Sunday
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to understand and respond to verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to effectively document all required care logs
• Must have advanced experience caring for Clients with dementia
• Must be skilled in de-escalating challenging behaviors
• Must be skilled in redirecting attention
