Caregiver

Now hiring a Professional Caregiver! (Must work 20 hours or more per week!)

We are needing to fill these hours:
8AM-12PM
1PM-5PM
5PM-10PM
Overnight (10PM-8AM)

****Every other weekend a must!

Hey you! We are looking for a trusted and heartfelt caregiver to join us at Home Instead. Do you love helping others? Hearing the stories and wisdom of seniors? As a Home Instead caregiver you are just as important as the clients we serve. Clients will put their trust in you to support their everyday living needs.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Helping seniors thrive from the comfort of their home
• Building lasting relationships
• Providing transportation and running errands
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation, cleaning, and other household duties
• Assisting in personal hygiene care (toileting, bathing, etc.)
• Kindly care for seniors with Alzheimer's/Dementia and memory loss.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to treat seniors with compassion, dignity, patience, and respect
• Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance
• Flexibility - be ready to adapt to the fluctuating needs of our clients
• Prepared to work with clients on Hospice or at end of life
